Photos, Medals, Certificates and More
All finishers in the Marathon, Half Marathon, 8K Road Race and Thrifty Foods Kids’ Run will receive a finisher’s medal in the finishing chute.
Marathon, Half Marathon and 8K Road Race finisher certificates are available from Marathon-Photo as a free download. Just type in your bib number or name in the box at the top of their website and you will see an option for certificate. 2019 – CLICK HERE
Race portraits are a great souvenir. Photos are now available through Marathon-Photo. They will be sending you an email with a link to your photos with costs and methods of payment.

All photographs, videos or other images taken during the event activities by the Victoria Marathon Society, its agents employees or contractors, may be used by the Victoria Marathon Society to promote or publicize its future events, without permission.
- Marathon Photo is the official photographer of the GoodLife Fitness Victoria Marathon.
Individual Award Categories
The top 3 male and female places in each 5-year age category will be awarded. In addition, awards are given to the overall male and female, top male and female masters (40+), top wheelchair winners and top visually impaired athletes. For participants aged under 19, awards for the 8K Road Race will be given as Under-12, 13-15, and 16-19. Awards will be based on chip time result.
Team Award Categories
First place will be awarded for CHEK CPP teams only in each of the following team categories. CHEK CPP teams are comprised of participants raising pledges for one of our CHEK Charity Pledge Program charities.
- Marathon – CHEK CPP Team.
- Half-Marathon – CHEK CPP Team.
- 8K Road Race – CHEK CPP Team.

NOTE: Open and Master prize money for men and women is available to all runners of any nationality. A bonus may be awarded to any Canadian citizen, male or female, for breaking the Marathon or Half Marathon Course Record. Only one bonus will be paid to the race winner. The men’s marathon course record is 2:13:42 and the women’s course record is 2:37:56. The men’s half marathon course record is 1:02:32 and the women’s course record is 1:14:06. Prize money awards will be based on gun time result.
