Mental Fitness: Start to Finish
Speaker: Sara Wegwitz, personal trainer for the mind in mental fitness, resiliency training, and performance coaching
You’ve trained for weeks. You’ve built the strength, speed, and endurance to go the distance. You’ve amassed running skills and have put in the physical training mileage to cross the finish line. Physical fitness – check. Mental fitness – hmmm. It has been said that success in anything is 20% mechanics (what you do/practice) and 80% psychology (how you think). What you train for – you experience. Come learn how to tweak the way you think to build confidence, resilience, and transform your physical capabilities. Sara will present the three core building blocks that will put you on the road toward achieving extraordinary results tomorrow and beyond. www.tailormakinghealth.ca

In this talk, Janelle Morrison, former pro Ironman triathlete and stillness expert, will lead you through your own personal inquiry into what being “committed” means to you. She’ll also share an animated story about overcoming some of her own racing/life challenges for your further exploration. Come prepared to think, feel and experience the powerful combination of commitment and surrender to take with you for your racing…and in your life. www.janellemorrison.com
