The Island Savings 5K is back to kick off our 2026 race weekend. The out and back route will start and finish at Willows Park in Oak Bay.
5K participants will receive a running hat on top of the commemorative 2026 finisher's medal and lanyard, race bag, race bib with chip timing and post race refreshments!

Start & Finish Line: Willows Beach
Course Time Limit: The 5K will have a time limit of one hour.
Strollers are permitted for the 5K, but we ask that you start at the back to help with crowding at the start.
Course Features
Kilometre markers along the entire route (as well as mile markers).
Water/Aid stations on the route. Aid/Water Stations will have Old Victoria Water and Xact Electrolyte.
Portable toilets at every water station.
Medical Services on the route and at the finish line.
Route Information
Our 5K is a fast course with a spectacular finish. Starting in front of Willows Beach Park, the run heads out on Beach Drive and then finishes back at Willows Beach Park. Perfect to run on its own, or used as a shakeout run for one of our Sunday events!
