We’re excited to officially open volunteer registration for the 2026 Royal Victoria Marathon, taking place from Thursday, October 8 to Sunday, October 11.
This event brings together more than 15,000 participants, and it simply wouldn’t be possible without the incredible people behind the scenes: you!
We’re currently recruiting volunteers across three key areas:

Course
Getting Involved is Easy
Browse the available shifts, choose the day, time, and role that works best for you, then click “Join the RVM Team Now!” to secure your spot.
Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your shift details, and your area lead will connect with you as race weekend approaches.
Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we’re so grateful to have you as part of this community.
We rely on over 1200 volunteers!
It takes thousands of volunteers to pull off the RVM each year. From route marshaling to package pickup, we have roles for everyone!
A volunteer information package and video instruction will be distributed prior to the event through volunteer area managers.
