Volunteer for the RVM!
Over 15000+ participants will be at the start line this year in the RVM Marathon, Outway Half Marathon, Westland Insurance 8K, Island Savings 5K and Thrifty Foods Kids Run events.
Please join us as part of the Peninsula Co-op RVM Volunteer Crew and help us make the experience amazing for all our participants.
Please note this event is on Thanksgiving weekend - Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026. Volunteers are needed in different roles Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11.
This Volunteer Package provides a LOT of information, so please have a read through, whether you are registered to volunteer, or just thinking about it.
We rely on over 1200 volunteers!
It takes thousands of volunteers to pull off the RVM each year. From route marshaling to package pickup, we have roles for everyone!
A volunteer information package and video instruction will be distributed prior to the event through volunteer area managers.
